Campus Services at Silver Lake College
Silver Lake College's Campus Services (Physical Plant) consists of Housekeeping, Grounds and Maintenance at the College and Sodexo employees in Dining Services.
Silver Lake College is proud to partner with Sodexo to provide dining and facilities services. We encourage you to try the all-you-care-to-eat dining options in the dining room, the "We Proudly Serve Starbucks" beverages at Mimi’s Café or show your school spirit with an item from the Silver Lake Spirit Store! For more information about our dining services, please click here to access the Sodexo Dining Services site, which includes information on meal plans, menus and catering.
The Housekeeping staff provides routine cleaning services in Clare Hall, the Franciscan Music Center (FMC), Generose Enrichment Center (GEC) and the Main Campus. Deep cleaning services such as carpet extraction are scheduled during breaks.
The Maintenance staff responds to a variety of work requests: routine, preventive and reactionary, to keep college equipment and buildings in good repair for students and staff.
Employees are responsible for grounds care activities throughout the year--from snow and ice removal in winter months to flower, shrub, tree, and lawn care, spring through fall. We take pride in maintaining the beautiful scape of the college grounds.
If you notice something that needs to be fixed or you have a non-routine cleaning request, please utilize the work request procedure. Students should request work through the Residence Hall Director when possible.
If there is an immediate need, please contact Campus Services at ext. 239 or Welcome Center, ext. 175.
